The most loved and long awaited part of the week comes. Week-end! However, as we postponed so many things to the end of the week, we have to face them now, instead of relaxing and having fun. Sounds familiar? We’ve found the place that could take away at least some of your troubles and save some of your precious time. It’s called “Das Möbel”, which stands for “furniture”.

It’s not only the cafe, but an exhibit place for young designers, mostly from Austria, but also from Denmark, Switzerland and Germany. You can purchase every piece of furniture or light that you see here. And of course test it for as long as you want, right here, while having your coffee.

Here you can meet up with your friends for a breakfast with sparkling wine (up to 4pm on week-ends) or for a cup of coffee/ ayurvedic tea or a glass of beer in the evening; and shop for furniture at the same time. No rush, no stress and it’s opened up to midnight. Well, that’s the real late night shopping!

And if you want even more furniture (beds and sofas cannot be, obviously, displayed in the cafe), there is always the shop with the same name on the Gumpendorferstraße 11, 1060 (Mon-Fri 10am-6.30pm, Sat 10am-4pm).
